I’m in the process of combining my running blog with my non-running blog, so please excuse the confusion in the meantime.
When I tell people I was a flyer on my cheerleading teams for more than eight years, they don’t believe me. In 2014, I realized it was time to get back up and running…literally. I’ve never been a runner but I’ve also never been so out of shape as I was from 2012 to 2014, so I signed myself up for the 2014 B.A.A. 5K and documented my training and the journey. I’ve since run several more 5Ks and have made running part of my weekly routine. I plan to run more races in 2016, including a 10K and a half marathon!
